STAFF
At Christ's Church of Yukon, our dedicated team of pastors, staff, and leaders work together to create a welcoming and spiritually enriching community. Meet the people who guide our church's mission and vision.
Clay Parrett - Lead Pastor
Clay is always willing to take you out for a cup of coffee for two good reasons--he loves people and he loves coffee! He's been serving at CCY since 1997, wearing a number of different hats because of his multi-giftedness. He is high-energy but not so much that you won't catch him occasionally sitting back with one of his guitars (he has a collection), singing a praise song, or even enjoying a Colts game on TV. He is a committed husband to his wonderful wife, Jennifer, and a dedicated father to his two boys, Luke and Zach. One of his preferred subjects is leadership so you might find him reading Andy Stanley or Steve Farrar. Though he is not beyond getting into a nerf gun war with the youth, Clay loves even more getting into the Word and sharing it with others in a dynamic, down-to-earth style.
Chris Miller - Youth ministries Yukon
Tori Lambert - Children's Ministry Director
If you hear laughter in our church halls, it's probably Tori, our Children's Pastor, and kid magnet! She thrives amidst the joyful chaos of our children's ministry, always smiling and spreading joy. Beyond kids, Tori's heart extends to all, often sharing stories about her family, especially her grandfather.
Tori's interests are as diverse as her taste in movies, enjoying everything from "When Harry Met Sally" to "The Fast and the Furious." She's also a theater lover, a passion sparked by her grandparents. Known affectionately as "Chicken Tender," Tori cares for her own flock of chickens at home, adding to her quirky charm.
She shares her life with her husband, Chris, and their kids, Landon and Mia, whose playful energy fills our church. Looking for joy or a friendly face? Find Tori – she's the heart of our children's ministry, weaving faith, love, and laughter into every moment!
Dana Park - Children's Ministries
Say hello to Dana, our children's ministry dynamo! She and her husband, Dr. Todd Park, have been part of our church family since 2003, raising three kids and two grandkids, with one more on the way. Dana's been passionate about teaching kids about God since middle school. In 2010, she joined our team, choosing to serve at CCY over becoming a public school teacher. Dana leads our PowerZone, a super fun Sunday program for 1st-5th graders, where kids learn about prayer, worship, and God's word through games, crafts, and snacks. She loves making faith fun for our little ones!
Kathy Stanka - Finance Administrator
Kathy Stanka is our Finance Administrator here at Christ's Church of Yukon. She is a great team player and brings to the team an extensive background in the legal field. She is highly organized and motivated and helps keep the staff team grounded when it comes to the church's finances, while still encouraging us to look ahead in our individual ministries so we can make a great Kingdom impact. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her grandkids and watch them play volleyball and is quite competitive on the golf course.
Kathy Rumbo - Office and Communications Coordinator
Kathy's journey began in Klerksdorp, a quaint mining town in South Africa - if you've ever heard her speak, you might have caught her distinctive accent! Her career has been a colorful tapestry, weaving roles from Safari Consultant to Realtor, truly embodying the spirit of a "Jill of all trades." Since 1996, Kathy has called the US home, living across various southern states before finding her heart in Mustang, Oklahoma. She's spent the last 15 years alongside Marcus, her soulmate and best friend. Always eager to learn, Kathy has a particular fondness for technology, often spotted with her trusty MacBook. Away from work, she's an avid traveler, delighting in new cities and cultures. Her generous spirit shines through, always ready to lend a helping hand.
David Ruedy
David is our "tech" guy. If it's broken he can fix it! He serves his CCY family as a leader of the Tech Ministry, and you will often find him at odd hours at the church repairing and/or improving our technology.
In his free time, he enjoys working on antique cars. So if you happen to see a 1908 Cadillac someday around town, it could well be David behind the wheel!
Drew Hamilton
James Snell
James and Joyce have been married for 50+ years and have three daughters. James has a degree in Industrial Physics but spent most of his working career as a chemical engineer with Phillips Petroleum Co. James gave his life to Christ and was baptized at the age of 10 at the South Haven Christian Church in South Haven, Kansas. James started teaching the Bible in Sunday School class in the mid-1970s at East Bartlesville Christian church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. During his time at East Bartlesville James served as a Sunday School teacher, Youth church preacher, Sunday School superintendent, Sunday night worship song leader, Deacon, Elder, Board chairman, and Trustee. James describes himself as being called to be a teacher though he has served in almost every position in a local congregation.
Kyle Meeks
In age, Kyle Meeks may be CCY's youngest shepherd but in Christian character, he is far beyond his years. Kyle is married to Amanda, a source of true joy in his life. Late in 2014, their firstborn, Mason, became the family's newest addition, and recently Ethan has joined the family. Some of Kyle's friends tease him about his predictability, calling him "robot," but just when you think you have him pegged, he jumps on his motorcycle and heads for an off-road enduro or throws on his mud cleats for a neighborhood football game. Kyle is intrigued by the world of Christian apologetics, one reason he's a C.S. Lewis enthusiast. But again, before you pigeonhole him as a total intellectual realize he also has Clive Cussler novels in his personal library (as well as a video of Liam Neeson's Taken!). Kyle has committed himself to make disciples of Christ "a few at a time," something he is always willing to sit down and discuss.
Robert (Bobby) Lister
Bobby, originally from Azusa, CA, found his way to Oklahoma just as he turned 18, following his family's move. It was his encouragement to his parents to find a church home that led them to CCY. Bobby's journey included a brief sojourn in Boston with his wife, but CCY remained his anchor. A steadfast church attendee from a young age, it was at CCY that Bobby's faith truly found its family. Now deeply integrated into the CCY family, Bobby shares an enduring bond with its members, akin to lifelong friendships. Married to Jordi Lister, they're blessed with two daughters, Elliot and Willow, and Bobby professionally works as the Branch Rental Manager at Kirby-Smith Machinery. Beyond his roles at work and as a father and husband, Bobby cherishes profound discussions on faith and life's purpose with friends, seeing CCY as more than a church—it's where his heart is, alongside his family and friends, a foundation for his life and legacy.
Ryan Porter
Here is a man who is a true student of God's word. Though not a pastor by trade, Ryan's interests have led him all the way to a Master's in Theology. He has a passion for clearly understanding and teaching Bible truth. His loyalties to God, family & country are obvious in his everyday lifestyle. But don't misunderstand, Ryan isn't too spiritual to have blast at a Thunder game, enjoy a "Lord of the Rings" movie or roll around the living room floor laughing with his kids. He somehow manages to even work in a couple of hobbies, running, and woodworking. Ryan is sold out to the mission of discipling others to be deep followers of Christ.
Sam Minick
Sam gave his life to Jesus in 1979 at Meridian Park Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City. Just a short while later he was baptized and felt the Lord leading him to serve others and point them to Jesus. He married his high-school sweetheart, Teresa Bohn at the age of 20. God blessed them with three wonderful girls and several grandchildren that bring him great joy. He has the heart to support the mission field and introduce people to my savior Jesus Christ. He strives to live by the words of Jesus when He said, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone." (Mark 16:15). Through his business, God gives him plenty of opportunities to demonstrate his faith through love, to his customers and team members. He feels honored to be serving alongside this group of guys doing Kingdom work!
